AnaEE ERIC

The research infrastructures involved in the AnaEE ERIC consortium enable their users to simulate environmental changes and conditions related to climate change and to monitor the impacts of these simulations on ecosystems, in particular on the ecosystem functions and services. The AnaEE European research infrastructure develops technologies and know-how in the fields of ecosystem sciences and management, and will play an important role in planning and adapting the food production systems to emerging climate conditions, as well as contributing to the promotion of the European bioeconomy.

Czechia is involved in the AnaEE ERIC consortium through the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS) and the Czech national node CzeCOS, coordinated by the Global Change Research Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. MEYS is financially supporting the CzeCOS large research infrastructure with a special grant amounting to CZK 42 mil. in 2022.
